Cantharellus cibarius are bright yellow in color, like an
exotic flower, and have an amazing buttery smell. They are
widely used in traditional and modern cuisines in Europe,
United States, and Asia. Chanterelles grow in many countries
of the world: both here and in many European countries,
Mexico, the Himalayas, the USA and Africa. In our latitudes,
the size of the mushroom cap mostly varies from 2 to 8
centimeters, in other countries they can be larger. The
largest chanterelles can be collected in California - one
mushroom can weigh an average of 0.5 kg.
